The Tarna Resort, Koh Tao, Ko Tao

I enjoyed my stay at this resort, with a stunning rooftop bar offering ocean views and a charming pool right outside my suite. However, the numerous stairs can be a bit challenging, and I faced some inconvenience when my hot water was not working. While my overall experience was pleasant, the unexpected charge for a broken glass at checkout was a disappointing end to my trip.

I had an incredible stay at The Tarna Align Resort! The amenities were top-notch, especially enjoying the buffet breakfast and the luxurious infinity pool. However, the steep hill location could be a bit challenging for some guests, and I had some minor issues with booking services which could be improved. Overall, this place is a fantastic retreat, especially for those looking to relax and enjoy some beautiful views.

While the rooms are nice, there were some hiccups, particularly with the shower during our last nights. Noteworthy is the construction going on, which was somewhat distracting. Overall, it’s a lovely place to relax, but be prepared for some challenges if you’re not fit or if privacy is a concern.

A downside was the trek required to reach the resort from the beach, but the complimentary shuttle service made it manageable.

The service, especially from the manager, exceeded my expectations, though I had a frustrating experience with housekeeping regarding the mini-bar charges.
